The SC Analyst – Materials Data Operations is responsible and accountable for the end-to-end (E2E) operational material master data creation in SAP, and data quality maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives implementation for SC and the Downstream, Renewables, and Functions class of business. The CP/SC Analyst – Data Operations position will be accountable for the E2E operational data set-up, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement opportunities for a particular business. This position will interface with multiple stakeholders across CP Operations, Supply Chain (SC) or CP-in-Business and across the e2e natural partners outside SC/CP e.g. IT, Accounts Payable etc.

The SC Data V&C (Verification & Controls) Analyst supports to run an efficient and effective delivery of the Contracting & Procurement organization.

The primary role of the CP Data V&C (Verification & Controls analyst is to gatekeep the multiple data creations, amendments made across specific LoB's of Shell and to ensure that information is 100% accurate and well documented/archived in protected repositories to support audits and to protect Shell against any potential risks from fraudulent transactions w/ external parties.

What's the role?SC Analyst – Materials Data Operations:
•    Create material master records (MMR) for various material and equipment types in GSAP, CHEMSAP, BluePrint, and other SAP-based systems
•    Contact suppliers/vendors and partner with asset engineers, Technical Asset Operations (TAO), inventory analysts, SC Operations Leads, and other business functions to obtain the mandatory information based on the Shell Internal Schema to create MMRs and to ensure business requirements are correctly prioritized and are met on time
•    Implement data quality- related projects and improvement initiatives to deliver value that impacts the business bottom line
•    Drive early involvement in MMR development. Where feasible, this is preferably done through annual plans agreed on with Technical Authorities, Category Managers, and other stakeholders
•    Ensure Data Quality (Right First time, Data is Trusted) is in place
•    Ensure operationalization of data designs that can eliminate waste, transform towards right-first time and strong data quality (DQ)
•    Ensure disciplined daily execution of operational data processes across E2E SC to enable improvement and optimization, thus contributing to Shell targets for improved cost and delivery.
•    Ensure that controls are consistently maintained, and risks are mitigated
•    Identify areas for improvement, including root cause analysis, exceptions identification, and ideas for improvement and play active participation in improvement projects
•    Demonstrate process expertise and business acumen with ability to play the role as the and SC Data expert for various business units

SC Data Analyst - Verifcation & Control:

Applies a proven understanding of the assigned part of the administration and systems, as well as interfaces with related areas, so as to provide administrative support in handling specific queries, data verification and also assisting in information gathering.Handles more complex tasks and patterned activities. Deals with a variety of unambiguous questions, checks correctness of data and adjusts with several sources of information within business supported.Works within well-defined and standardized procedures and practices and is supervised on progress and results by manager. Works autonomously within this defined scope, with regular guidance from senior colleagues or own manager.Requires courtesy, tact and effectiveness in providing and obtaining information. To some extent will also need to use persuasion, in order to obtain and understand the background of information.·Has capacity and curiosity to understand business requirements, how the ‘business works’, what data means to supply chains and actionable outcomes to enable step change towards “Data as an Asset” for whole of SC/CP.Diverse virtual stakeholders across different cultures in SC Process, Data and SystemsStrong curiosity and capacity to understand Data and Data processes within the CP/SC and business context will be requiredMay work in different shifts to cater to the different time zones of the stakeholders

CP/SC Data Analyst:

Partner with frontline CP, Suppliers, functional teams and other CP Data Operational teams to ensure business requirements are met within target timelines • Ensure Data Quality (Right First time, Data is Trusted) in placeEnsure operationalisation of data designs that can eliminate waste, transform towards right-first time and strong data quality. Ensure disciplined daily execution of operational data processes across e2e CP to enable improvement and optimisation of supply chains and thus contributing to RDS targets for improved cost and delivery.Supports root cause analysis, exceptions reporting and engages in operational reviews meeting with CP Leads to jointly prioritise, resolve and perform better as an E2E unit together with CP LeadsEnsures that Controls are consistently maintained and risks are mitigated • Identify areas for improvement, including root cause analysis, exceptions identification and ideas for improvement and play active leadership role in improvement projects

What do we need from you?

SC Analyst – Materials Data Operations:
•    Technical engineering/maintenance execution background and experience are preferred
•    Knowledge/familiarity with Material Master Data and MMRs 
•    Awareness/background in process automation and digitalization is a plus
•    Strong data knowledge, curiosity, and capacity to understand data/data processes within the SC and business contexts
•    A self-starter, with the ability to identify innovation/improvement opportunities and to implement projects
•    Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills 
•    Ability to interact with and influence others to deliver business results
•    Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities, work without close supervision, and work through others to deliver results
•    Ability to deal effectively with complexity and detail, and to collaborate and work well in a team

•    Experience across Data and familiarity with SC (materials management, warehousing, inventory, etc.) is not required but a plus 

SC Data Analyst - Verifcation & Control:

At least 1 year experience working w/ SAP and/or other related systems.Proficient Microsoft Office skills and analytical skills, lookup and comparison of multiple tables of data.Ability to handle specific queries from internal and external stakeholders and perform comprehensive information gathering in support of decision making.Ability to work autonomously such that sound judgment and discretion is exercised.Ability to prioritize and deliver patterned activities in the defined scope and standardized procedures and practices w/ 100% accuracy.Actively identifies opportunities for improvement to enhance the effectivity and efficiency of the patterned activities defined within the roles & responsibilities.Actively engages internal and external stakeholders where necessary, i.e. inaccuracies identified, priority deliverables due.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering or any educational equivalent

CP/SC Data Analyst:
