About the Role

This role is part of the Philippines Leadership team and plays a key role in delivering the business units growth ambitions –by unlocking excellence in Supply Chain. The role is responsible delivering Reputation (QEHS), Cost, Cash and Service Performance targets and defining the leading supply chain practices that will deliver the supply chain strategy. The role is also part of the SEA supply leadership team and is expected to deliver on South East Asia strategic projects. The Supply Chain Director will directly report to Philippines Market GM, with a dotted line functional reporting to South East Asia Supply Chain Director.

Role Accountabilities

Lead delivery of the supply Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for end-to-end supply chain including cost, cash, service and while also securing the supply chain governance areas such as Quality, Environment, Health & Safety. 

Strategically lead and shape the Diageo Philippines strategy and agenda beyond supply.

Integrated Business Planning leadership to improve S&OP maturity for Diageo Philippines. 

Drive productivity initiatives, portfolio optimization and route to market optimization. Lead Strategic Partnerships and regional strategic sourcing projects

Operational & market supply leadership with Function Centre’s of Excellence & regional teams.

Enhance our reputation and mitigate emerging risks in the business through delivering excellent service and ensuring Control & Compliance is at the forefront of everything we do in our business & supply chain.

Role Experiences and Qualifications required

10+ years of supply chain experience with a minimum of 3-5 years prior supply chain leadership experience in a customer facing capacity, with a broad understanding of supply chain fundamentals planning, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing and procurement). Prior experience working in a multinational or heavily matrixed organization will be an added advantage.

Ability to translate commercial strategy into action and effective communicator with clear articulation of ideas.

Experience in IBP, logistics and transportation functions will be preferred and 3PL management experience (either as a supplier or customer) will be an advantage

Demonstrate ability to shift between- operational and strategic thinking, also balance between functional know-hows and market/ business understanding. 

Outstanding interpersonal skills – able to engage others with strong and authentic relationships and stakeholder management across all levels within the business

Resilient in the face of complexity and thrives on ambiguity

Demonstrates high levels of initiative and ability to act autonomously.
