Supply Chain Engineer

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to join our Managed Solutions Division.

As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will design solutions and develop capabilities to support the strategic vision of C.H. Robinson and its customers. These solutions encompass continuous improvement and optimization of supply chains, including but not limited to sourcing, transportation, network layout, inventory, facility layout, order management, warehousing, and material flow. Key responsibilities include data gathering and cleansing, trend analysis, problem-solving, solution design, process documentation, stakeholder communication, and the development of financial baselines and savings calculations.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: 

Analyze historical and forecasted data to identify trends, baselines, and cost-saving opportunities.Develop solutions and recommendations for customer challenges using technical expertise.Independently implement customer solutions, including documentation, training, and issue resolution.Manage projects from scope definition to execution, tracking progress and measuring results.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights, define objectives, and align on deliverables.Communicate project updates clearly to internal and external audiences.Contribute to team skill development and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead small project teams as needed.Seek coaching and feedback to enhance personal and technical skills.Perform other duties as assigned based on team or country-specific needs. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university  Minimum 5 years of relevant professional work experienceAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and summarize data, including graphs, charts, formulas, functions, macros, VBA, solvers and regression analysis Experience using data visualization and analytical tools, technology savyFluent English (written and verbal) Good presentation skills

Preferred: 

Able to identify trends, patterns and outliers in supply chain data and form insights and recommendations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Strong organization and task management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects/priorities simultaneously Understanding of end-to-end supply chain functions and relationships Knowledge of lean processes and tools for continuous improvement Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
