Job Title: Supply Chain Engineer
Job Description

As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for achieving corporate supply chain performance targets, focusing on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns, and improved order-to-delivery results. You will play a key role in deploying the Supply Chain Planning Process, developing the Plan for Every Part, and implementing Pull Replenishment methods for the facility. This hands-on position requires working effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams to develop lean material flow plans and make physical improvements on the shop floor.

ResponsibilitiesAchieve corporate supply chain performance targets focusing on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns, and improved order-to-delivery results.Deploy the Supply Chain Planning Process, developing the Plan for Every Part and Pull Replenishment methods for the facility.Work with diverse, multi-functional teams to develop lean material flow plans, including changes to factory floor layout and material presentation.Gather and analyze data on facility demand and demand variability for each part required for production.Review, analyze, and clean data prior to migrating it into the Web Tool.Lead Supply Chain Planning Analysts in documenting data into the Plan for Every Part web tool.Create and maintain a site-level Flow Map for parts used in production.Enable and coach facility employees to utilize templates to load and maintain data in the Web Tool.Provide reports and information to facility resources requiring data.Perform physical, tactical work across multiple functions to implement supply chain planning processes and develop a Plan for Every Part for every value stream in the facility.Direct the work of Supply Chain Planning Analysts and lead others to deploy processes in the plant.Make improvements required to attain MQ or similar Certification for a Value Stream.Work with cross-functional teams to reduce or eliminate supply chain constraints inside a value stream.Essential SkillsExperience and knowledge of complex lean concepts and tools.Experience and knowledge about CPS supply chain principles, specifically Pull Replenishment, Supply Chain Planning analytical tools, material flow, and throughput efficiency.Strong understanding of common supply chain systems.Knowledge of and/or experience deploying 6Sigma Project Management principles.Leadership skills to effectively lead supply chain improvements while maintaining a strong focus on people.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work among production employees with minimal disruption to their workload.Experience in making physical, tactical improvements in a shop floor environment.Work Environment

This is a hands-on shop floor position based on interactions with assemblers and performing activities within a factory. Tasks will include labeling racks, auditing ILC, and deploying 5S materials, which are crucial to the initiatives pursued. The position involves physical, tactical work across multiple functions to implement supply chain planning processes and make necessary improvements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.
