Job Summary

Our 11-week summer internship program will be in person in Atlanta and run from May 19 – August 1, 2025.

 As a Supply Chain Engineering Intern, you will help design, visualize, and deploy distribution center automation and storage media systems, including robotic, AMR (autonomous mobile robot), and other technologies.    You will assist our corporate engineering staff in the testing of new technologies, and the design and launch of new Distribution Centers.  Interns will do meaningful work through specific a project(s) and/or initiative(s) in their respective departments and make a final presentation at the conclusion of their internship. Interns will enjoy robust networking and personal development opportunities through formalized interactions with senior leadership, training workshops, and city-wide intern events. Interns will have fun and give back through opportunities to meet fellow college-aged students, social outings, service projects, and more!

Responsibilities

Analyze distribution center operations. Identify options to Improve operational efficiency, product flow, ergonomics, and storage equipment utilization. Assist with logistics operations layout to optimize operations of material handling equipment.  Improve workstation designs. Analyze inventory slotting to optimize automation systems performance. 

Qualifications

Currently a rising senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering.  AutoCAD drafting skills. Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong analytical aptitude Ability to travel to a distribution center from our headquarters (20 minutes)

Preferred Qualifications

3.25 GPA or above preferred.PowerBI a plus

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Expected to operate in a professional office environment. The 2025 program will run from May 19 – August 1, 2025The work week is 40-hours Working hours are M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
