Supply Chain Expert

In this position you will be managing the local Spanish logistic activities and our Third-Party Supplier, who performs warehousing and transportation activities in Spain (ES).

Tasks:

Supervise execution of warehousing (Goods Receipt, Storage, Picking, Packing, Goods Issue, Returning, Disposal) , transportation and local supply of Finished Goods in SpainOptimize transportation and distribution networks for finished Goods to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operationsActively manage the supplier performance through systematically and analytical performance review meetingsSeek for continuous improvement in the assigned scope; challenge existing processes and align with our supplier for improvement potentialsEnsure active inventory management including ensuring of aligned stock between FME & our 3PLs, check and further develop existing interface between the systemsManaging stock aging together with local planning and business team; organize scrappingDesign & deploy new processes, best practices, standards, and operational plans for the Supply Chain Management function Controlling document flow, including invoices for accountingChecking and validating invoices for final approval by your departmentEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to all Supply Chain activities.Ensure an appropriate and accurate communication with stakeholders (vendors, internal and external customer, and other FME function).Collaborate and design reporting and dashboards linked to the scope of work indicated.Ensure the appropriate roll out of the contracts with vendors in the scope of work, and follow up proactively their performance accordingly.Review, control and manage local Budget regarding categories, GL’s and cost centers under scope.Contribute for efficient inventory management

Requirements:

+3 years in an international Supply Chain organization in healthcare/MedTec industry with multiple functional experience (warehousing, transportation, demand planning, procurement, etc.)Solid understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Management with deep knowledge in logistics operationsUniversity degree in an economical or technical field with a specialization on Logistic, Supply Chain Management or something similarExperienced Logistics environment (+ 5 years) Proven track record for vendor/contract management.Experience managing supply chain indicators, processes and market requirements.Effective communication skills across all levels within the organizationResult driven and customer-oriented working modeAnalytical mindset with high problem-solving capabilityAppreciation of diverse cultureStrong knowledge in Microsoft Office tool suite, specially in Excel.SAP knowledge in the ERP modules SD & MMKnowledge in different Warehouse Management software (Elvis, WM, EWM)Knowledge in planning software (SAP APO, SAP IBP)Willingness to travelDriving licenseEnglish fluently in speaking and writingSpanish fluent
