Supply Chain Intern
Support Center - Irving

Our 10-week paid Internship program is designed to attract and develop future leaders. This opportunity is for individuals currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing career opportunities in retail supply chain or related fields. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with core responsibilities, relevant projects, and assignments. The Supply Chain intern will be assigned to the Supply Chain Strategy team and gain hands-on experience with core responsibilities, relevant projects, and cross-training; including time at the local distribution center.

Major Activities

Learn basic terminology and processes in Supply Chain related to product flow through the networkUnderstand basic Supply Chain KPIsGain firsthand knowledge of the DC process while spending time in a Distribution CenterLearn firsthand the importance of building cross-functional relationships across the company and how these teams partnerWill attend weekly meetings and shadow multiple areas of responsibilities within Supply ChainCollaborate with team members to deliver quality projects timelyTake ownership of and present an individual project related to Supply Chain that will be implemented or continue post-internship.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in (Supply Chain)

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applications

Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires

GPA of 3.0 or aboveCollege Juniors and above1 year of experience working in a retail environment or distribution center is preferredGood written and verbal communication and listening skillsPossess good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsNatural curiosity to learn and self-motivated
