As a Summer Intern at the hospital distribution center, you will assist with the efficient management and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other essential resources that support hospital operations. You will work closely with the logistics and supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, inventory management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts. Help organize and label supplies to maintain accurate inventory tracking. Identify and address discrepancies in inventory records. Order Fulfillment: Assist in processing incoming orders from hospital departments. Pick, pack, and prepare supplies for shipment or delivery. Ensure all orders meet quality and accuracy standards. Supply Chain Operations: Work with vendors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries. Assist with tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues. Support the optimization of supply chain workflows. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to supply usage, trends, and efficiency. Prepare reports to support decision-making processes. Use inventory software and databases to input and retrieve data. Quality Assurance: Participate in audits and ensure compliance with hospital regulations. Help enforce safety and cleanliness standards in the distribution center.
