Find your future with us. **Position overview** : This post is for a **Supply Chain Intern** (Fixed Wing) to work within the Supply Chain function in Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) in **Bristol** . BDUK is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1,200 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISR Services, and Through Life Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services **Position responsibilities:** + Day-to-day support and management of assigned parts, liaison with internal and external customers of demand priority/criticality of a Programme in the UK. + Utilise reporting to address any actions. This includes, but is not limited to: New Buys, Excess Requests and Allocations. Analysing Target Stock Levels, Consumption Data and Condemnation Rates for individual parts. + Work in alignment with contractual KPIs supporting key supplier activities, developing best practice to support effective contractual execution. + Supporting Risk, Issue and Opportunity, identification and project management for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. + Review all inputs into the demand forecasting tool. + Supporting UK sourcing strategy + Negotiating pricing and terms + Stakeholder management + Preparing and issuing contracting documentation including raising RFQ, RFI’s and Purchase Orders. + Managing supplier and functional performance targets. + Supporting Risk, Issue and Opportunity, identification and project management for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. **Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.** **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong written and oral communication skills. + IT proficient (particularly Excel, PowerPoint). + Studying towards a business degree, with interest or focus on supply chain. + Strong analytical skills with a focus for detail. + Drive and enthusiasm. + Integrity and strong ethical values. **Typical Education & Experience:** + Skilled team member/contributor + Driving for business results + Customer satisfaction focus **PLEASE NOTE:** The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a Security Clearance Process, which will require 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to applying. **Export Control Requirements:** This is an export control position. **Export Control Details:** Non – US based job **Equal Opportunity Employer:** We are an equal opportunity employer.
