Position Overview
The Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator supports Supply Chain services through data gathering and analysis, cost reduction activities, inventory management and planning and provides customer service with internal and global partners. Essential Job Functions ( required duties and responsibilities)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
+ Coordinate and responsible for all logistics activities including Import/export logistics, but not limited to: Sales Order/Purchase Order entry, status and processing, preparation of commercial and customs documents, working with Customs brokers and global freight services, in-transit inventory reporting and reconciliation, maintaining proper tariff codes, duty rates, and Regulatory Compliance
+ Assists with Demand Planning and Supply Planning processes including the gathering and analyzing of data and information
+ Creates and maintains documentation, including product availability, transportation used, inventory control, end of month reporting and other needed documentation; also develops, analyzes, and prepares reports to aid in business decisions
+ Creates and maintains ERP processes and records specifically related to Supply Chain responsibilities
+ Coordinates across departments to ensure troubleshooting, problem solving and proper documentation for AR/AP processing and any needed dispute resolutions
+ Partners with global and internal teams to provide customer service, logistics, and resolution of inventory inquiries including product availability, demand, and incoming supply
+ Performs other duties as requested by management
Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements
+ High school degree or GED
+ Bachlors degree preferred
+ 5 + years in Supply Chain and/or S&OP roles, with Operations or International Logistics preferred
+ 4 + years of ERP System experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 desired
+ Advanced Excel skills
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills within all levels of organization
+ Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills/Attributes ( preferred but not required)
+ Successful experience in inventory control practices
+ Knowledgeable in warehouse management systems and/or fulfillment operations
+ Knowledge of GS1 standards
+ Proven ability in strong customer and vendor relationship building
Physical Demands
+ Extended time sitting, standing, and viewing of computer screen(s)
+ Infrequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
Work Environment
+ Office setting in manufacturing/distribution facility environment
+ Infrequent domestic and international travel
+ Some exposure to plant and warehouse environment including heat, humidity, dust fumes, gases, toxic/caustic chemicals, airborne particles, and significantly loud noise; Exposure to moving mechanical parts online, as well as moving equipment throughout the factory or warehouse
+ Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which the company provides, following all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance System (MPS)
