As a Supply Chain Manager for the Global Procurement Operations Reusables Team (GPORT), you will be responsible for a reusables product and its end-to-end execution across the global supply chain. You will interface with internal customers and assure supply. You will work with our team to deliver reusable items in a world-class reverse logistics network – delivering on requirements and refining site demand signals.
Key job responsibilities
• Own key metrics and goals such as forecast accuracy
• Create a plan that creates a balance between customer experience, speed and cost
• Own the end-to-end procurement strategy using a demand-driven approach
• Develop a deep understanding of demand planning and optimization tools
• Partner with product, technical, operations and other network planning teams to build scalable solutions
• Design program mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks, and gather feedback from worldwide stakeholders
• Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across the businesses
• Continuous Improvement – Analyze the impact of business changes on demand (region/sites) and continuously improve the forecasting processes by diving deep into the gaps within existing tools and by automation and standardization while working with internal and external stakeholders (Retail, Finance, Transportation, Operations).
A day in the life
We are seeking an experienced leader to work in the reusable products space to create a collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment model. You define topline forecasts and purchase requirements for reusable assets at a global scale. You will deal with ambiguity, identify problem statements and develop innovative solutions to improve Customer Experience, reduce cost and create a best-in-class circular supply chain.
The successful candidate must be highly organized and possess strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. They are able to self-manage competing priorities, driving both strategic and tactical activities in parallel, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Our mission and purpose: Build, implement, and sustain global solutions for Reusable assets in support of Amazon Operations. We deliver sustainability, maximize productivity, and minimize cost.
GPORT is a team spread across multiple different time zones with multiple different and dynamic forces acting through it, with it, and across it. We should lead “purpose-first” and use our leadership philosophy and mission as a baseline for how we interact with each other and with other teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
