Supply Chain Manager

Job Description Oversees and manages supply planning, sourcing, procurement re-stocking/refill, inventory management, quality assurance, distribution, and storage in our supply chain for a seamless flow and to ensure resource requirements are satisfied. Creates and executes plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction and analyzes data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and implements strategies, manages supplier relationships, optimizes processes, and analyzes performance metrics.Consolidates the demands per SKUs and facilitate the sign off process Creates delivery forecast based on the build timing of the TerritoriesDefine safety stocks level per SKU and identify the thresholds and triggering points for PR and PO releases, manufacturing and deliveryCreates warehouse / staging area capacity forecast based on the deliveries and scheduled pulloutDevelops and implements quality control processes and procedures per SKUDevelops and implement risk management process, to include, but not limited to identifying risks, their likelihood of occurrence and impact, developing actionable mitigation plans and the action owners and communication plans Defined sourcing and supply chain management policies and processes (e.g. Bidding process, procurement, logistics & warehouse, supplier relationship management, etc), as well as category level sourcing strategies and roadmaps for both network and IT assetsAnalyzes supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Continuously evaluate supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, or service quality. ⁠Introduces and enforces best practices within the supply chain to enhance overall performance. Identifies potential suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, delivery time and reliability.Applies procurement processes for services obtained through external providers, including reviewing of proposals, setting of vendor selection guidelines, risk assessment through audits and tests, and selection of external providers based on evaluation criteria with view of maximizing long-term returns on investment  Oversees the over-all bidding and procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management and enforces compliance to agreed policiesEvaluates supplier performance, provides feedback and ensures they meet expectations, they resolve issues and comply to agreed policiesNegotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including payment terms, quality standards and delivery schedulesReview contracts and provide inputs based on the result of the performance evaluation and ensures Vendors comply based on agreed-upon terms Identifies and mitigates potential risks associated with suppliers, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or financial instability.Approves the release of the purchase requests based on the timing of the demand Triggers the manufacturing and delivery of the supplies from the Vendor Partners based on the designed threshold ensuring these are available when needed by the Territories and Operational/Restoral worksEnsures timely fulfillment of all assigned material SKU demand orders and ensure no aging demands and stocksOversees inventory planning, control, and optimization and ensures that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.Ensures that supplies meet quality standards by conducting thorough testing.  Identifies and addresses defects, and implements corrective actionsApproves testing results and endorse for Good Receipts and Payments Review, analyze and manage the demand, supply and financials (capex & opex) through the S&OP discipline prior any allocation, reallocation  and/or purchases that will enable build and operations and manage cash flow at the same time Ensures that all supply chain activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.Generates and assess reports on key performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency and execute resolutions or mitigations requiredCollects and analyzes data, develops reports, and identifies cost-saving opportunities.Monitors and manages costs within the supply chain operations,  finding ways to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.  Ensure that supply chain operations stay within budgetary constraints and contribute to overall cost efficiency.Supports decision-making by providing insights and recommendations.Sources out and partners with third-party logistic providers to manage the transportation and warehousing Selects the appropriate mode of transportation (e.e., truck, rail, air, sea) based on factors such as cost, speed and reliabilityManages the stock distribution to projects, programs and territories and delivery to staging areas.Manages the allotted spaces / pallets in the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of productsChecks and coordinates inventory levels across different locations / hubs to avoid stockouts or excess inventory Issues the pullout form based on the build timeline, prepares and ready the materials to be transportedDevelops efficient routes and schedules for the delivery of the materialsDevelops contingency plans to address potential disruptions Implementing practices that reduce the environmental impact of distribution and logistics.Develops return processes and policies for failed testing, un-utilized inventories, excess inventories, utilized but still usable inventories and for repair.  Return to Vendor SKUs that failed testing and execute agreed replacement process Assesses inventories intended for return from Vendor warehouses.  Either reject, approve or endorse for further approval following the   limits of authority Evaluates all returns to determine if it is for disposal, or if it is eligible for replacement, repair or buy backManages the costs associated with returns, including transportation, inspection, and processing fees.
