The supply Chain Manager is responsible for all Supply Chain strategic and tactical activities required to ensure on time delivery to customer commitments, and operations & inventory optimization.

Responsibilities

Site lead for supply chain meeting & KPI (Inventory recovery projection & tiers 3 indicators, Plan attainment & accuracy, S&OP meeting)Proactively monitor sales forecast & global inventory evolution to anticipate change in procurement requirements and processesEnsure the communication from/to Purchasing, Engineering, NPI & Quality, WW Supply-Chain and the affiliate as well as the associate reportingParticipate to the inventory coordination level of forging & finished goods.Responsible to define goals and to make the performance evaluation for the associates as well as to ensure their development through adequate training planHe proposes solutions to better satisfy the demand, improve the product costs, increase the productivity and decrease the lead time.He implements suppliers KPI and monitor their supply performanceResponsible for the end-to-end supply plan, rough cut supplier capacity analysis (12 month horizon) and site optimization for products and value streams. Accountability for supplier capacity planning and scenario modeling. Coordination of demand inputs from global demand planning and commercial operations teams to supplier’s production capacities.  Plans and coordinates master purchasing schedules to meet customer service requirements as well as related performance reporting.  Reviews the maintenance of supplier master files and order processing master files. Writes and conducts performance appraisals and ensures regular feedback, coaching & counseling, and communication with staff. Lead, manage and develop the assigned team

QualificationsBachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline  5 - 10 years experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement   Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret data and drive informed decisions. Demonstrated experience in a Supply Chain role and procurement skillsFluent in German and EnglishExceptional negotiation and communication abilities.Experience in leading a teamMust possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, good decision making skills, and the ability to think outside the box.Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed analysis (what happened) and present summary root cause (why it occurred), and improvement plans (How to fix it)Thorough knowledge of MRP systems, supplier lead times, Lean or Six Sigma certification is preferred Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
