To support our ongoing growth and commitment to operational excellence, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our Chocolate Decoration plant in Zundert.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a robust supply chain and logistics strategy to optimize the flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers. Provide strategic direction for local Supply Chain activities,  including warehouse and transportation management, production planning, scheduling, and material releasing. Inventory Excellence: Uphold the integrity of inventory accuracy throughout the supply chain. Manage your team members activities related to replenishment, handling, and warehousing of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Decision-Making Authority: Exercise overall responsibility and authority for decision-making on re-engineering procedures and processes within local supply chain activities. Policy and Procedure Oversight: Direct supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to enhance efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee materials planning and control, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution. Budget Management: Manage and oversee the budget for supply chain operations. Monitor the performance of all supply and logistics activities against defined goals. Supplier Collaboration: Cultivate relationships and negotiate contracts with external suppliers to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services meeting quality, timeliness, and cost standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior executives across the organization, fostering integration of supply and logistics strategies with overall business objectives. Leadership Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Supply Chain team, including Coordinators and Analysts.

About you:

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering. 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations within the Chocolate Manufacturing industry. You can easily adapt to a changing environment and create structure for you and your team members. You already have some experience in leading a small team. Proven experience in Production & Capacity Planning and/or Sales & Operations Planning (SD&OP). Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Experience with SAP and database management. You have already contributed to SAP projects within Supply Chain or Production. Strong proficiency in both English and Dutch.
