Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Group and support our teams in driving World Class Excellence within our Liquid Analysis Production Center. Within Liquid Analysis, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.
What is the role about?
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of order processing, purchasing, and materials flow. Key responsibilities include order administration, procurement, supply chain planning, materials management, trade compliance, packaging, and warehouse shipping and receiving. The goal is to ensure timely delivery of all orders.
The primary objective of this role is to develop a supply chain to production that supports world-class delivery and quality performance. This includes formulating value stream strategies and implementing best practices in inventory management, forecasting, procurement and overall supply chain management. Collaboration with the Liquid Analysis headquarters will be essential to achieve these objectives.
Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, including order management, procurement, inventory management and logistics APC Anaheim, working closing with colleagues in Germany and China for a robust and effective global program.
Work with sales and production managers to collect all forecasts and customer demands and utilize this information to develop supplier forecasts and plan deliveries.
Lead use of the SAP ERP system for supply chain planning, developing stronger processes aligned with other parts of Liquid Analysis and Endress+Hauser
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets are achieved.
Responsible for all material handling disciplines inclusive of receiving, stock transfer, stock control and management and shipping.
Optimize costs through effective use of tools and strategic sourcing processes while meeting engineering, quality, and product management specifications and requirements.
Ensure the order management process delivers excellent customer service and communication
Coordinate logistic operations with corporate programs, ensuring high levels of customer service.
Support materials compliance, corporate social responsibility and other corporate programs.
Manage, support, and nurture the development, growth, and success of staff.
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Develop and maintain a strong trade compliance program.
What do we expect from you?
You:
Bachelor's degree/master’s degree in supply chain management, business management, or proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role.A minimum of 8 years progressive experience in supply chain, production planning and management of materials and sourcing within a dynamic and changing design and manufacturing environmentAPICS certification preferredAbility to lead procurement strategy and build strong relationships with suppliersExperience with supplier category management with demonstrated strong resultsStrength in developing suppliers to a high level of delivery, quality and cost containmentStrong knowledge and proven ability to lead ERP use, with SAP preferred. Preferred to know all aspects of ERP use from order entry through supply chain and planning, production and then shippingHigh-level knowledge of forecasting and planning systems and MRP concepts required to fully utilize material planning MRP toolsHigh-level knowledge of lean manufacturing and JIT principles and be able to apply them in appropriate situationsHigh-level of integrityFluent written and oral English communicationAbility to prioritize and assign tasks to meet deadlinesAbility to travel, no more than 15% of the time, including internationallyPossess strong negotiating skills and ability to sustain networking relationshipsProven decision-making ability with strong analytical skillsStrong project management and leadership skillsCapacity to work under pressure with the ability to balance immediate and long-term priorities, with exceptional multitasking skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision

The listed range for this position is $140,000-$160,000 but the actual package offered may vary depending on different factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation for this position would include other elements which include an annual nondiscretionary bonus.
