About the Position the Supply Chain Manager will ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly. In this role, you’ll collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Sales, and Finance, to create effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have experience in project management, as well as great leadership and communication ability. Responsibilities + Strongly contributing to the SOIP Process led by the supply chain: Manage the Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning (SOIP) processes for the site, ensuring inventory is minimized while delivering customer satisfaction. + Oversee the site production plan schedule that, in agreement with the Production Manager, fulfills customer orders by committing to delivery quantities and dates—adapting the plan to changing circumstances while respecting customer requirements and production constraints. + Manage inventory levels, inventory forecasting, and inventory reduction action plans for the site. + Act as a point of contact for the business groups in developing new product flows, customer issue resolution, and strategic supply chain issues/development—interfacing with customer services and customers, sales, and businesses whenever needed. + Oversee the supply of raw materials and site packaging to allow production to schedule while respecting inventory levels. In conjunction with purchasing and business groups, manage the performance of suppliers. + Supported by Logistics, ensure an efficient service is provided from Logistics - Warehouse & Production Support areas. + Ensure suitable HSE procedures, incident investigation, and HSE improvements plans for all the site supply chain operations. + Oversee the organization of transportation of products to customers. + Develop and implement departmental procedures and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Internal Controls requirements for the above operations. + Coordinate activities of offsite storage operations, including inventory controls and stocktaking. + Develop and improve processes and interfaces with haulers and freight forwarders. Manage TMS processes. + Manage operationally tolling activities, including providing forecasts to tollers, placing orders, monitoring production, and organizing customer delivery. + Oversee trading activities, including import, allocation, and distribution. + Manage hazardous material incidents with HSE and Operations team. Requirements + Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field is desired. + Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes + 5 to 10 years experience in a supply chain leadership role. + Previous experience in the chemicals or related manufacturing industry. + Working experience of ERP software + Strong communication skills + Excellent organizational and project management skills + Creative problem-solving + A strategic and analytical mind The salary range for this position starts at $130,000.
