PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.
Responsible for managing inventory in the clinical setting. Responsible for key relationships with vendors and forecasting. Creates policies and procedures in for inventory control and forecasting. Manages cross-functional initiatives including the implementation of new programs, initiatives, products and technology.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generating an SKU-level forecast for all pharmaceuticals
Incorporating historical and market trends and seasonalityCollaborating with internal stakeholders (Finance, Medical, Procurement)Collaborating with external stakeholders (key vendors/medical/pharmaceutical suppliers) Aligning forecast against inventory targets and contractual commitmentsCoordinating with replenishment planner to ensure target service levelsDeveloping and managing the relationship with counterparts at key vendors/medical/pharmaceutical suppliersBalance inventory against forecasted volumes and refrigeration capacity at clinicsResolve ESA supply issues at clinicsEffectively manage relationship with third party distributors to develop ongoing communication, build rapport, and to coordinate distribution to clinic networkAssemble data, coordinate necessary meetings, and communicate effectively with accountable groups (e.g. Clinical Ops, Finance, Procurement) to ensure smooth replenishment processDesign and generate PAR settings to be used for ongoing replenishment of goodsEnsure, through active management of IntelliOrder, PAR settings are correctly incorporated into SAP systemMonitor and find opportunities to improve the following KPIs:
Forecast accuracyShipments versus volume commitmentsDays-of-supply versus defined targetsOn time in full to DCs On time in full to clinicsAddress and proactively mitigate clinic issuesImproving upon current documentation and SOPs for supply chain planning processes and systems including
Medication scanning/perpetual inventoryAutomated replenishment of clinic back room suppliesEnsuring compliance with DSCSA requirements
Addressing inquiries from regulatory agencies in relation to DSCSADeveloping solutions to streamline compliance with regulationsOther duties as assignedAdditional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.
