Sedgwick Repair Solutions Managed Contractor Network provides restoration and repair services for the insurance sector and private clients. We have an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our national team, with any UK location considered.
You will assist with the strategic direction and performance management of our Repair and Restoration Contractor Network. This involves setting and monitoring performance measures to ensure contractors meet our high standards in cost control, repair times, and quality of work.
You will foster key relationships with contractors, working closely with them to drive continuous improvement. This includes regular face-to-face and virtual visits to assess performance and provide feedback.
Additionally, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Directors and Senior Management, to ensure a consistent message of exceptional customer service is embedded in all tasks. Your role will also involve working with clients to build strong and effective relationships, taking ownership of contractor selection, and participating in key projects to develop new services.
The skills you will have when you apply:A full UK Driving Licence: It is essential you can travel by car.
Essential: Experience in the construction/building arena.
Desirable: Property claims/insurance background.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate at senior levels: You should be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and working as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment: You need to be adept at identifying issues and finding effective solutions quickly.
Willingness to travel and cover other operational areas: Flexibility to travel and support different regions as needed.
Strong organisational and communication skills: You should be able to manage your time effectively and convey information clearly.
Negotiation skills and relationship management experience: Experience in negotiating and maintaining professional relationships is important.
Proficiency in Microsoft products and in-house systems: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant internal systems.
