Insight Global is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join a growing oil and gas company in Downtown Houston, sitting onsite up to 2 days per week while conducting field visits to East Texas bi monthly. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for creating, overseeing, optimizing, and executing supply chain strategies and processes that support operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance within the oil and gas sector. This role ensures the timely procurement, transportation, and management of equipment, materials, and services essential for all development and production operation activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management within the oil and gas industry, including expertise in logistics, vendor management, inventory management, compliance, and risk mitigation. The Supply Chain Manager will support the operations team to deliver results aligned with the Companys objectives. Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies in coordination with production, development, engineering and operational teams that are aligned with the companys operational and financial objectives. Collaborate with production, development, engineering and operational teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize procurement processes for equipment, materials, and services. Negotiate and manage Master Service Agreements with suppliers and vendors. Responsible for developing, maintaining, communicating an approved vendor list that adheres to company financial and HSE policies. Develop and manage the supply chain process including analyzing spending and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, efficiency or schedule.
