Berry Global's Consumer Packaging North America division has an immediate need for two Supply Chain Managers. One role is based in Evansville, Indiana, USA and will support our Evansville Injection Molding Facility. One role will be based in the Western USA and support the division's western region facilities.

 

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the master production plan to ensure demand and supply are balanced at all times. This role is responsible of overseeing the mid-to-long term capacity plan of a plant or a group of machines across multiple plants to ensure optimum asset utilization which is key to achieving the plant’s financial goals. This role is responsible for achieving customer service and inventory goals of the plant. This role is directly reporting to the Supply Chain Director, Consumer Packaging North America.

Responsibilities Capacity Requirements Planning: Collaborates with Demand Planning Manager to improve sales forecast accuracy and to understand demand assumptions as a critical input to the mid-to-long term supply plan and asset utilization plan.Capacity Review: Develops and maintains a capacity model to drive monthly capacity review and decision making with the Plant Directors, Supply Chain Directors, Product Line Managers, and Commercial Leaders.S&OP Process: Leads S&OP meetings within the plant or customer to drive alignment of planSupply Strategy: Develops and executes production and inventory plan to anticipate capacity constraints due to demand seasonality and/or support new product inventory pipeline requirements. Recommends inventory pre-build plans and run-down plans.Business Excellence: Work with the Plant Scheduler to ensure work orders are aligned with the Master Plan. Leads and remove hurdles to drive flawless execution of the production and inventory planSLOB: Leads the resolution of Slow Moving and Obsolete inventory with the Commercial and Customer Service TeamsMaster Data Stewardship: Coordinates planning master data clean up, Updates master data on current and new items monthly. Maintains the Master Planning Family (MPF), Routing, and Safety Stocks of all materials (FGs and Raws) to effectively execute the master planBusiness Reporting: On an Adhoc basis, develops and maintains demand and supply visibility report to the Customers, Plant Managers, Supply Chain Managers and /or Customers as required and specially on constrained supply situation
