Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Starkville, Mississippi. In this role, you will be in charge of overseeing the procurement of raw materials, managing warehouse operations, optimizing our supply chain, and leading our supply chain team. Responsibilities: • Oversee the purchasing of raw materials, ensuring timeliness, quality, and cost-effectiveness • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery schedules that meet our production requirements • Manage warehouse operations, focusing on efficient storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods • Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste and eliminate shortages • Evaluate the performance of supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes • Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on operational goals • Manage supply chain budgets, maintaining a balance between expenses and efficiency • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management • Develop and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve favorable terms.
