Position Purpose
Oversee and manage the logistics operation of CHEP Brazil, ensuring the balance between service level and cost, management of all transport, demand and distribution planning, KPI’s, budget and initiatives (efficiency projects).
Major/Key Accountabilities
Determines and manages the Transportation budget to deliver the expected service;Manage and develop transportation companies, negotiate contracts to ensure SLA’s and ensure that the area run with daily KPI’s control.Work with transportation suppliers to develop and implement transportation solutions;Execute the Logistics planning for the geographical area and guarantee quality & availability of pallets and containers sent to customers / other plants from conditioning sites;Manage stock balance through reallocation planning, aligned with productivity at Plants;Lead and develop the Transportation and Planning Brazil team.Drive operational efficiencies and ensure continuous improvement with innovation.Responsible for monthly financial and performance, cost reconciliation and forecast review.Responsible for efficiency and cost reduction projects.Measures
