SALARY: $100,000-$118,750, bonus eligible
SHIFT: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-4:30pm with on-call responsibilities.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Manager will take full ownership of the daily Operations of the Warehouse, including planning, directing and controlling
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full ownership of planning, directing and controlling daily operations of the warehouse
Develop shipping schedules and carrier assignments, owning in-plant inventory management, and preparing production schedules
Verify and reconcile metal receipts and consumption
Perform and reconcile monthly physical inventory
Supervise in-plant administration and control of all finished goods shipped from plant to consumer location
Supervise warehouse and shipping personnel
Lead Logistics Pillar using VPO tools
Regularly assess processes and identify improvement using the PDCA process.
Order primary materials needed for production processes
Lead and support safety initiatives and awareness in assigned areas
Foster ownership for the use of VPO tools to sustain and improve assigned area’s KPIs.
Responsible for the Safety, Quality, Production and Cost performance of assigned area
Schedules and manages Maintenance Tasks at the plant level (Trials, major breakdowns, plant shutdown, and take advantage of unplanned downtime)
Lead area team engagement initiatives and drive Team Member led engagement
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree required, logistics or engineering
3+ years of warehouse/distribution or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with inventory management/production scheduling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Windows PC applications, including Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
Proficiency with SAP or other query type software required. PWM/ WMS is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem solving skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
Take corrective action to resolve errors or inconsistencies.
Ability to prioritize engineering decisions
Self-manage and work well without supervision.
Demonstrated history of improving KPIs
Understanding of the requirements to build culture in a team
Can Plant Experience is a plus
A desire to learn and be curious about avenues to improve the Logistics function at MCC Newburgh
