As Supply Chain Manager for Japan, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations for Care Chemicals Business Unit across Japan and Korea markets, driving integrated business planning processes, managing inventory optimization, and ensuring operational excellence while leading a team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through effective demand planning and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
Essential Function 1: Functional Management, strategy development & Implementation
- Drive an integrated end to end supply chain through collaboration across various functions (Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement) for Japan and Korea market
- Translate business strategy into supply chain strategy and implementing them through the right organization setup
Essential Function 2: Ownership of SCM Function within Integrated Business Planning processes
- Lead country-level Sales & Operations Execution to handle constraint and conflict management between various stakeholders
- Support regional/global Integrated Business Planning review forums
- Manage daily end-to-end supply chain execution (demand planning, production planning, inventory management, order fulfilment, etc), and ensure operational stability
Essential Function 3: Drive Operational Excellence
- Drive continuous optimization of supply chain performance, initiate follow up and corrective measures
- Drive the overall efficiency of Order-to-cash cycle for Japan and Korea in BU Care Chemicals through cross-functional collaboration
Essential Function 4: People Management
- Develop, retain and motivate team
- People management inclusive of performance management, career development and succession planning
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above, business management or supply chain related major
Experience
-More than 8 years supply chain experience with minimum 3 years in management capacities. - -- Experience with collaboration in APAC countries preferred.
- Good communication and influencing skills, data analysis skills, experience in cross-functional teams, excellent understanding of end-to-end supply chain related processes
- Strong functional competencies in demand & supply planning. Solid knowledge in SAP & SAP APO (or similar planning tool)
