Job Summary
Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the supply chain processes, including functions such as materials planning, scheduling, purchasing, warehouse and logistics, along with the execution of all company rules, policies, procedures and programs in support of the Eaton’s goals and objectives. Lead and/or support projects and/or initiatives based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
1. Plan and organize materials management strategy to achieve prescribed objectives associated with Inventory Management, Service, Planning, Logistics and Purchasing
for the plant.
2. Ensure tools for inventory management, SIOP, sourcing and supplier resource management are deployed and sustained, to optimize the use of material providing
maximum production efficiencies and service to customers with minimal levels of inventory.
3. Ensure the timely manufacture and distribution of finished goods that meets and/or exceeds the expectations of both external and internal customers
4. Drive initiatives to improve supply chain processes driving synergies with manufacturing, quality, Lean, human resources among other functions to achieve business goals
and maximize resources.
5. Ensure adequate supplier management encompassing on-time delivery, quality while maintaining good vendor relations and establishing cost reduction programs.
6. Effectively communicate, interface, and coordinate interplant/inter-department activities for the areas of Materials, warehouse and Logistics, and related support areas such
as finance, human resource, manufacturing and engineering as needed.
7. Actively participate in profit planning and strategic planning process leading supply chain key initiatives.
8. Develop department procedures, guidelines, and objectives as necessary.
9. Obtain cost improvements and cost reductions aligned to business objectives.
10. Support the effort to build organizational capabilities and bench strength through support materials functional excellence, training, and coaching.
11. Daily/weekly verification of inventory and service levels, and provide plant management an accurate forecast, actions and a weekly and monthly basis.
12. Responsible for updating and maintenance scorecards, dashboards, Tier4 metrics and actions.
13. Drive Lean and Quality initiatives within Supply Chain department ensuring compliance with Eaton policies and Eaton Business System

Qualifications:Education level required
Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineer, Business Administration or related areas. Preferable a Master Degree or MBA.Years and area of experience required
Minimum experience of 7 years in supply chain and minimum 3 years ofexperience as a manager/supervisor.
Skills:Technical knowledge
Bilingual (English/Spanish).PC knowledge, Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPointKnowledge ERP Systems.General knowledge of Lean Tools, 6 Sigma and Quality standards.Knowledge of Inventory Control and D.R. Custom Laws
Soft skills
