Supply Chain Network Optimization Analyst

The position will support Network Optimization initiatives related to cost, project management, Supply Chain analytics, and reporting.  This position will identify, analyze, and implement “transformative cross-functional change” initiatives related to service, working capital, and financial performance in partnership with all functional areas. 

Leverage analytics to develop and implement solutions to drive consistent business processes related to Inventory Management software (JDA).  Optimized solutions must balance service, working capital, and operational expense.  Develop and distribute impactful management reporting related to critical supply chain functions and initiatives.  In the spirit of “Continuous Improvement” ensure that reporting is dynamic and impactful to drive management visibility and effective decision making.  Evaluate current flow paths and identify opportunities to improve end-to-end Supply Chain performance related to operating cost, service, and working capital (inventory).  Effectively manage the cross-functional alignment of optimal solutions and actively participate in implementation.  Partner with all functional areas (Inventory Management, Store Operations, and Merchandising) to analyze and effectively support high-profile events including New Store Openings, Seasonal Events, and one-time initiatives. Develop expertise in one or more key functional areas and identify and manage initiatives to improve Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s).  Examples of functional areas include DC Operations, Stores Operations, Transportation, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Financial Performance, or Advanced Analytics. 

 Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field; Supply Chain preferred. 2+ years of related experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, or Finance. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written business communication skills. Analytical and data manipulation skills to perform detailed analysis and identify actions; experience in the development of advanced financial analysis preferred. Functional knowledge of WMS, TMS, and Inventory Management systems.  Strong organizational, time management and planning skills. Strong analytical skills, logical decision making and troubleshooting skills with the ability to problem solve in a timely and effective manner. Proven ability to meet deadlines and key metrics, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
