Supply Chain Operations Lead

From creating the home standby generator market category, to our current evolution into an energy technology solutions company, we continue to push new boundaries. **Major Responsibilities** + Ensure day to day control and management of the site warehouse functionality including receiving, shipping, inventory control, quality and reporting that meets all performance metrics. + Maintain flow of information to and from internal team at the site and others concerning work materials requirements, inventory receipts/release, shipments, new policies, and new methods of operations. + In coordination with the engineering and production departments; plan and coordinate all inventory availability and release to meet the highest quality & efficiency at the expected cost. + Recommend and implement improved working methods. + Oversee and address problems within the warehouse area and engage in improvements opportunities. + Assesses inventory capacity issues, and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. + Responsible for directing and managing subcontractors; provide the directions for sourcing of necessary tools, SOP training, and support to ensure success of all rework projects. + Schedules and expedites all receiving, internal material release and any shipping needs to meet deadlines. + Ensure adequate training and approve personnel that will be process-interactive with the site warehouse. + Monitors tools, material, quality, and execution of processes supporting site production & engineering. + Troubleshoots warehousing problems and determines corrective action when necessary. + Manages output and quality of work; takes corrective action when necessary. + Continually seek opportunities to improve performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting our results. + Engages in continuous process improvement with leadership and site teams. + Required to physically handle, move and manipulate inventory, materials and equipment to process all warehousing functions. + Other duties may be assigned. **Minimum Job Requirements** **Education** + Associate degree (A.A.) with four years of professional experience, OR Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) with two years of professional experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. **Work Experience** + Experience in overseeing, managing, or directing personnel, prioritization, schedules. + Performance oversight of workflow and teams. Experience is a result’s driven environment. + Data driven competency and experience in tracking and creating report outs for daily actions and updates. **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities** + Able to understand and visualize workflows and develop SOP’S (Standard Operating Procedures). + Can understand manufacturing processes, procedures and function and drive results. + Writes clearly and accurately; Transfers technical data into meaningful written documents that can be understood by all levels of the organization; Writes comprehensive well developed work instructions; Writes clear actions and audit reports. + Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments. + While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
