Job DescriptionYour main responsibilities will be:
PACKAGING:
SC&P engineer is responsible for packaging readiness from concept validation until packaging is in place at SOP.
Program acquisition:
Define and quote accurate and cost-efficient packaging concepts in line with client's and customer expectations/standards, based on information with a low level of detail given the product's immaturity.Program Development:
Build and track Packaging Retro-planning. Use and update the packaging tracker tool.Make Packaging Studies and validate them with the affected parties (Internal, suppliers or Customers)For packaging under the client's responsibilityDefine Capex needed, share with PML and participate with Carco. Then ensure Capex validation is respected. Highlight in case of issue.Provide specification to T&E buyer and follow up the RFQ process until Supplier nominationOnce the packaging supplier is nominated, organise and follow all validation processes and packaging availability. Organise validation meetings with all appropriate parties. Share closely with packaging suppliers to ensure readiness and economic data. Ensure optimisation of packaging according to footprint.For packaging not under the client's responsibility, ensure validation is organised. Participate in validation and ensure the responsible person is acting on time according to planningDefine backup packaging in line with serial packaging validatedDefine Spare parts packaging in line with customer requirementsEscalate any topics creating delays in planning.SUPPLY CHAIN:
SC&P engineer is responsible for the readiness of all inbound and outbound flows for the client's plants.
General
Create and update external MIFDUpdate Logistic Cost Estimation file from acquisition until transfer to plant (estimation of transport cost, packaging investment and serial cost, work content).Ensure all program Milestone under SC&P responsibility are tracked and achieved (PMS / Launch book)Use all tools and standard documents from the SC&P organisationProgram acquisition:
Provide cost for all inbound & outbound flow from client's plant in line with client's and customer expectations/standards, based on information with a low level of detail given the product immaturity. Provide cost for transport, and packaging investment for the program estimating a more realistic scenario.Program Development:
Inbound flows
Share with purchasing BOP supply chain condition for acquisition (loop, delivery frequency…)Check with purchasing supplier feedback before nomination and highlight any issues.Validate packaging loop, delivery frequency, MOQ, and all needed delivery condition finding compromise between transport cost, inventory target and purchaging cost.Track all validation of flows with supplier until LPDS (Logistics Parts Datasheet) & TIDS (Transport & Information Datasheet) signature and EDI opening.Organise MIFD review with transport team/purchasing and plant to find best transport organisation and define delivery frequencyOutbound Flows
Ensure Customer flows creation / update for new program.EDI tracking for opening and implementationValidate loops, delivery frequency, transport organisation with customers.QualificationsYou will be a potential fit for our role if you have:
Degree/Master diploma;2+ years of experience in Supply Chain;Previous experience in Supply Chain in Packaging;Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote);Advanced level of English;Soft skills: very good communication skills, team player, sharing know-how and results with colleagues, results-oriented, methodical and proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset;Other requirements:
