This position will analyze the current supply chain for both industrial and steel North America. This person will provide and recommend supply chain improvements related to, but not limited to, supply, demand, transportation, and warehousing operations. Job Duties: - Analyze existing supply chain metrics and provide solutions to improve - Ensure current customers and product group profitability - Identify areas of efficiency opportunities ranging from warehousing, transportation, and overall processes - Recommend cost savings projects based on data analysis - Cross stream collaboration with areas such as IT, Procurement, and Operations to improve processes and reduce overall time to serve customer
Hard Skills
+ Supply chain or demand planning experience
+ Manufacturing industry experience
+ Proficient in Excel
+ SAP experience is very helpful
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
Fully remote, equipment provided. Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours.
