Job Title: Manager, Supply Chain Planner Job Description The Manager, Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for executing plans supporting the end to end inventory strategies. This person will lead Supplier Management activities which include on time delivery of goods, relationship building with external vendors, and supporting the ordering/safety stock strategies for the site. Main Job Responsibilities 1. Translate supply plan into executable purchase orders with internal sites and third-party manufacturers. 2. Establish purchasing and supply attributes for all material and maintain within the MRP system. Resolve and document purchase order discrepancies such as non-conformance, shortages, or price discrepancies with suppliers. Review purchase order acknowledgements daily for compliance to price, delivery and other terms and conditions. 3. Governance and reporting: Be the first point of contact for all US suppliers. Ensure early involvement of the right people from the key supplier management team on various supplier related topics. Track and Report the progress of all Key Supplier Management (KSM) activities. Once a year, with support from Global procurement, report progress to the Tech Ops Leadership Team. 4. Risk Management: Perform annual supplier financial health check. Perform supplier demand planning and Capacity assessment. Contract in place (in line with legal policy). Risk heatmap and action plan developed along with supplier sustainability. 5. Performance Management: Performance to contract management: quality (QA evaluation for GxP suppliers), OTIF service level and communication and alignment on pricing. 6. Support tech transfer of new products and new GMP material by ensuring proper compliance in terms of Technical Agreements, change controls and ensure on time delivery on those milestones. Soft Skills + Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent relevant experience + 7+ years of Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Materials Management. + Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus. + Previous operations experience and exposure to manufacturing materials principles and concepts preferred + Experience in ERP (Oracle or SAP) is required. + Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills Work Site This is an onsite position requiring days on-site in Parsippany, New Jersey.
