We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte.

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team and be responsible for managing, establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the detailed production schedule for our Polyol Production production assets at Wyandotte, Michigan; including the planning, ordering and inventory control of raw materials used in the manufacturing of the product line and finished good production planning.
**As a Supply Chain Planner, you create chemistry by...**
+ Managing all aspects of production planning and inventory for the Polyol manufacturing plant to support targets and achieve desired customer service levels.
+ Developing a production schedule for finished good production, planning packaging and ordering raw materials to meet plan, by utilizing SAP planning screens and use of the planning board.
+ Working closely with Operations, Product Management, Procurement and other Supply Chain Planners to successfully ensure the production plan.
+ Managing inventory performance by reading inventory reports, and performing cycle counts, monthly closing and annual physical inventory to determine accuracy and ensuring that inventory levels stay on track with target, as well as managing dysfunctional inventory in conjunction with Operations and Product Management.
+ Displaying awareness that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of BASF’s Vision and Guiding Principle and following all policies and procedures as applicable.
**If you...**
+ Possess a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field or commensurate with overall 3 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, or related field
+ Have APICS Certified (preferred)
+ Possess understanding of planning processes, including MRP, and Sales and Operations Planning
+ Are able to demonstrate your exceptional collaborative, interpersonal skills, ability to work across multiple locations, functions successfully and your excellent organizational skills
