Job Description:
One World Technologies, Inc dba TTI Power Equipment, has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an Out for Repair Planner. This planner will be responsible for maintaining an accurate statistical forecast model, an up to date portfolio of materials, and a pipeline of supply for said materials to support after-sales needs. Scope
OFR planners will be tasked generally with ensuring the company at all times has the correct materials and inventory to meet our customers’ after-sales needs, while simultaneously meeting company inventory targets. To achieve these objectives, planners will interface with counterparts in various capacities:
ENGINEERING and PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT to verify all new materials are systematically setup and ready to procure
CUSTOMER SERVICE and DEMAND PLANNERS obtaining relevant sales data to ensure an accurate future forecast
FACTORY TEAMS to place orders and confirm timely shipment and delivery
DISTRIBUTION to effectuate efficient and timely receipt and/or transit of materials to their final destination
Primary Responsibilities
In executing the general objectives of the role, OFR Planners will on a weekly basis be responsible for the below tasks:
Understand the schedule of all finished goods in development and the subsequent release of associated Service Parts
Ensuring pricing of relevant parts are made available in needed timeframe
Obtain and review data on historical sales to construct forecast for future demand
Analyze trends in finished goods sales and leverage this data to inform parts forecast
Maintain system parameters for portfolio of parts and update reports critical to business function
Define factory orders to ensure an adequate supply of parts to meet customer demand
Track factory production to ensure an acceptable schedule attainment
Monitor shipments and facilitate successful receipt by either our customer directly or in Anderson
Weekly communication with warehouse team to get needed inventory moved to customer
Interface with accounting team to obtain any required information for prompt payment to suppliers or from customer
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in preferred majors, including Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Statistics, Business Operations (OR equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years TTI or industry related experience with forecasting, demand planning, Inventory management, transportation, distribution, purchasing, or manufacturing
Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite applications with advanced Excel skills
Demonstrate statistical, analytical, and mathematical aptitude
Ability to develop and manage metrics that drive performance
Strong interpersonal skills to work on a fast-paced, multi-tasked team
Ability to work in a process driven environment with strict deadlines where priorities change rapidly
SAP experience a plus
Statistical supply chain planning software experience a plus
