As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst Level 3 (Principal), you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems Division is seeking a qualified and motivated Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to work at the Rapid Innovations Operating Unit.

This is an on-site position to be based at one of the following locations:

Dulles, VA (preferred location)Gilbert, AZ

This is not a telecommuting position. Relocation assistance will not be provided.

In this job, you will:

Define and develop material strategy, including Analyze lead times and identifying critical path procurementsReceive/review requirements for standard and non-standard parts, and create purchasing requisitions for requirementsPlan inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirementsProvide support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the programAnalyze material supply/demand position using available Materials Planning ToolsEvaluate suppliers, address supplier capacity and/or production issues, and noting key performance indicators

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years (master’s with 3 years) of relevant experience in supply chain, material planning, general business, or finance. Or in lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience in supply chain, material planning, general business, or finance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expertise in ExcelExperience in a manufacturing and/or repair depot environmentExperience working in Global Supply ChainExtensive experience with Risk mitigationMust be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently holds an active Top Secret security clearanceExperience with an IRAD/Developmental ProgramProficient in using MRP systems for material and finance data analysisExperience with forecasting material receipts and sales dollars into COGNOSExperience with Government Programs and FAR/DFAR flow downsExperience managing suppliers through the following: cost/schedule/qualityExperience managing programs with earned Value (EV)Experience with cost accounting management (CAM)Proficiency with COSTPOINTExperience in supplier financial reporting/forecasting, contracting/subcontracting, and supplier/program/product scheduling

Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $136,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
