Northrop Grumman is seeking skilled and motivated professionals for the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experiences in supply chain management and/or related fields (including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing).
We are looking for you to join our team as a Supply Chain Planning Specialist based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.
What you'll get to do:
Providing support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program.Understanding the breadth of the supply chain management scope (including materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material finance, and supplier relationship management)Planning and coordinating program requirements.Monitoring and establishing material inventory.Addressing supplier capacity and/or production issuesEvaluating suppliers and noting key performance indicatorsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experience.Proficiency in MS Office suiteCandidates must be able to make sound decisions on time, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by the regulated industry.The ideal candidate must be professional, have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams), communicate written and verbally, be exposed to the proposal process, and have presentation skill set.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; master’s degree with 1 year of experience in supply chain, program management, and/or business management experience.Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment.Experience in forecasting.Experience with Supply Chain planning management and/or project management.Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.US CitizenPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in supply chain or business managementExperience with Government procurement processes and regulations; FAR/DFARExperience with Earned Value Management Systems and practices.Experience as a planner working on Aerospace and Defense programsDemonstrated experience in large electronics production programs.Active DoD Secret or higher security clearanceProcurement experience.MANGSC
Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
