As an EY Procurement Consulting Professional, you’ll use your analytical insight to drive clients’ global business performance and sustainable growth, leveraging on EY’s innovative digital solutions and transformation framework.

 

Working as part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service and help leading organizations improve their Procurement processes, within a variety of sectors including Consumer Products & Retailing, Mining & Metals, Energy, Industrial Products, Life Sciences / Pharma, Financial Services, Telco’s and Transportation.

 

The opportunity

We are actively looking to recruit the most talented individuals with prior consulting experience and/or industry experience and knowledge in the Procurement services area and value chain to join our dynamic and growing Procurement Consulting team. As a Procurement Consulting Professional, you will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers using your technical knowledge and experience to provide the best outcomes. At the same time, you are required and will be also assisted and encouraged to continuously develop through trainings and hands-on experience on a variety of engagements.

 

Your key responsibilities 

As a  Procurement Consulting Professional, you will take part in demanding projects with local, regional and global reach, and you will:

Take part in client meetings and interview client stakeholders to understand their business requirements and strategic objectives Perform data analyses with advanced tools to understand current state and identify areas of improvement Provide solutions to clients to achieve excellence in the areas of Procurement Strategy, Sourcing, Contracting and Supplier Risk  & Performance, embedding also sustainability requirements in the Procurement domain Gather & analyze benchmarks and leading practices from all Global & Regional sources of EY network and define clients’ SC of the future Develop innovative future state scenarios, collaborating with an extended eco-system of internal and external partners Provide hands-on support, in most cases on-site, to help clients build and realize their Procurement transformation strategy

                                 

Skills and attributes for success

 

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex tasks under tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to develop presentations that are clear and impactful, translating EY consulting services into meaningful valued propositions for clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as conceptual attitude. Self-motivation to continuously develop in Consulting. A passion to provide exceptional client services.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

 

At least 3 years of combined Procurement working experience in Management Consulting and/or Procurement related roles in a corporate environment, for entry level consultants. For senior and managerial roles, additional experience will be evaluated accordingly

 

A bachelor and / or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Operational Research, any Engineering or Business domain degree, or other related field with strong quantitative focus. Deep understanding of Source to Contract, Procure to Pay & Supplier Relationship Management activities. Evidence of interaction with multidisciplinary teams at all hierarchical levels. Handling and analyzing extensive content i.e. Policy, Processes, data sources and large data sets skills. Advanced skills in MS Office. Experience in specialized Procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, etc.) & BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) will be considered a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek; Similar skills is other languages will be considered as a plus.
