Supply Chain Production Planner

As the Supply Chain Production Planner, you will help ensure efficient production schedules and delivery of our products. Under the guidance of the Supervisor, Materials Control, you will collaborate with different departments, including manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics, to improve workflow and meet customer demand.

You Will:

Use MRP to develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory and maximizing efficiency.

Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure production resources (materials, equipment, and personnel) are available.

Monitor production progress and address any issues that may affect schedules, working to resolve conflicts and re-prioritize.

Analyze production data to identify trends, anticipate bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.

Analyze inventory data to identify trends, set stock points and ensure available inventory to maintain the production schedule.

Collaborate with purchasing to ensure availability of raw materials and components.

Communicate production schedules and changes to partners across the organization.

Maintain accurate documentation related to production schedules, inventory levels, and performance metrics.

Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve problems which threaten the ability to maintain the production schedule.

Implement and uphold safety and quality standards in all production planning activities.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning and scheduling.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, IT or related field. (MBA Preferred)

5+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in the water technology or related industry.

Demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing capacity planning that thru-put efficiency and increase in productivity.

Experience in Bill of Materials analysis and components data validation, production Work Order materials requirements forecasting.

Experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and knowledge of production planning principles.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
