The program manager is responsible for projects to expand and improve transportation network to connect A) Fulfillment Center to ship out items, B) Delivery Station to deliver packages to customers, and C) Sort Center to connect Fulfillment Center and Delivery Station. To get great delivery experience to our customers, you will participate in planning and building a transportation network that can achieve even faster delivery speeds, offer most convenient delivery services to more customers, and realize these at a lower cost.

This role requires data-driven, rational decision-making as well as strong project management skills to drive a project forward. You will need to collaborate not only with the domestic operations and finance teams, but also with the overseas technology development teams to optimize the transportation network. As this involves innovative and dynamic changes, we are looking for a talent who is proactively willing to take on new challenges.

As part of this role, you will work collaboratively with your team members on projects involving the following:
1) Long-term transportation network expansion plans to support Amazon's growth
2) Data-driven optimization of the transportation network for both delivery speed and cost
3) Participation in the annual business planning process, including budgeting for new initiatives
4) Collaboration with domestic and international stakeholders to drive project execution
5) Reporting on the project to leaderships within the organization
6) Driving process automation to improve efficiency, quality, and accuracy


A day in the life
一般的なプロジェクトの期間は３カ月程度となり、規模によって複数のプロジェクトを担当いただく場合があります。日々のルーチンワークは基本的になく、プロジェクトのタイムラインに合わせて、ご自身で日々のスケジュールを決めていただくことができます。プロジェクトの中で発生する作業は主に以下となります。
- プロジェクトの効果や影響範囲を検証するためのデータ取得やデータ分析、シミュレーションの実施
- ファイナンス含めた各ステークホルダーとのプロジェクト実施の合意形成
- 各ステークホルダーとのローンチに向けた調整および課題解決
- プロジェクトローンチ後のKPI確認
- 中長期的なプロジェクトの計画を策定し、年次計画へ反映
- 週次でのプロジェクト進捗報告
- プロジェクトに関する資料作成

Typical project duration is about 3 months, and you may be responsible for managing multiple projects depending on project size. There is generally no daily routine work, as you will be able to set your own schedule based on the project timelines. The key activities within these projects include:
- Data collection, analysis, and simulation to verify the impact and effectiveness of the project
- Obtaining alignment from various stakeholders, including finance, on project implementation
- Coordinating with stakeholders and resolving issues to ensure a successful project launch
- Monitoring KPIs after the project launch
- Developing plans for longer-term projects and incorporating them into the annual plan
- Providing weekly updates on project progress
- Preparing documentation and materials related to the project

・在宅勤務可（週３日以上は目黒オフィスに原則出社）
