Supply Chain Project Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning

The Global Supply Chain Planning team at ResMed drives business value by managing an end-to-end, digitally savvy, and data-driven supply chain. This ensures that the right products are available at the right place and time. Additionally, the team enhances ResMed's operations by effectively planning product lifecycles, ensuring the successful launch of new and innovative products, and managing the obsolescence of end-of-life products. 

Let's talk about the role 


The primary role of Project Management function is to manage the assigned Supply Chain projects and initiatives to enhance the customer experience, by delivering on time and on budget and managing stakeholder buy-in. This role demands a highly skilled Supply Chain Project Manager with expertise in a complex supply chain, operations optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The key skills for this role include providing input to senior management on project priority, timing, scope, resourcing, technical feasibility and costing. This role will be required to develop and implement strategy in-line with overall company objectives and will be critical in maintaining department focus on internal and external customer needs. 

Let’s talk about Responsibilities 

Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. 

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. 

Collaborate and prioritize with business process owners to develop roadmap of projects  

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, IT, and other departments, to ensure project success. 

Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to support business goals. 

Lead and manage teams to achieve operational objectives. 

Develop and execute operational procedures and strategies. 

Ensure program operations and activities adhere to internal policies. 

Coordinate cross-functional project activities and manage risks and issues. 

Implement corrective measures as necessary to ensure project success. 

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. 

Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and clients. 

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements. 

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. 

Mentor and support junior project managers and team members. 

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field 

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain / project management, Experience in planning, order fulfillment, inventory / transport management, supply chain network design will be desirable.  

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools  

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. 

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
