The Supply Project Innovation & Brand Change Head is responsible for leading supply chain innovation projects and implementing brand change initiatives. This role ensures efficient implementation of new products, process improvements, and brand updates whihandlinging local third-party logistics providers (TPO). The aim is to drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration across departments, and align with company goals to meet market demands effectively.
These decisions are crucial for ensuring successful project execution, driving innovation, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, handling local production effectively through 3PLs, leading a high-performing team, and achieving Diageo's business objectives.
**Decision Making Authority**
-Finalize and approve project plans, timelines, and budgets for supply chain innovation projects and brand change initiatives.
-Identify and decide on opportunities for process optimization and new product development in alignment with Diageo's strategic goals.
-Approve strategies for packaging updates, product reformulations, and rebranding efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
-Make decisions regarding the performance metrics and operational improvements of the three local third-party logistics providers (TPOs).
-Ensure alignment with senior leadership, key team members, and external partners by making key decisions that support project objectives -Recommend new supply chain innovations and process improvements that align with Diageo's strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency.
-Provide insights and recommendations for new product development opportunities, ensuring alignment with market trends and consumer demands.
-Advise on effective strategies for packaging updates, product reformulations, and rebranding efforts to ensure successful brand transitions.
-Recommend performance metrics and key performance indicators for third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure high standards of quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery timelines.

Cost Efficiency: Implementing supply chain innovations and process optimizations can lead to significant cost savings by reducing waste, improving resource utilization, and enhancing operational efficiency. Revenue Growth: Successful new product developments and brand change initiatives can drive revenue growth by attracting new customers, increasing market share, and enhancing brand loyalty. Investment Optimization: Effective management of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) ensures that investments in logistics and production are optimized, leading to better cost control and improved margins.

Regulatory Environment: Navigating complex regulatory requirements related to our products, distribution, and marketing. Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, including taxation and labeling standards. Supply Chain Logistics Handling a diverse and extensive supply chain network, including local production facilities and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Addressing infrastructure challenges such as transportation networks, warehousing, and distribution channels.
Effectively handling these complexities is crucial for Diageo's success in the Mexican market. It requires strategic planning, robust execution capabilities, strong partner relationships, continuous innovation, cultural sensitivity, compliance with regulations, efficient supply chain management, competitive differentiation, economic adaptability, talent acquisition & retention strategies aligned with business objectives aimed at achieving sustainable growth & profitability within this dynamic environment.

The Strategical Accountability of Supply Project Innovation & Brand Change Head is responsible for driving sustainability initiatives, leading innovation projects, and handling brand transformation. This role ensures that all supply chain operations align with Diageo's sustainability goals and market trends while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Driving Sustainability Initiatives:
+ Lead the implementation of sustainable practices across the supply chain
+ Develop and track critical metrics to measure performance against sustainability targets at campaign levels.
+ Partner with procurement to ensure agencies adhere to ESG goals and Diageo’s policies
Leading Innovation Projects
+ Oversee projects aimed at integrating new technologies, improving processes, and enhancing consumer experiences
+ Apply data insights to guide future strategies and understand emerging trends
+ Collaborate with technical teams and external partners to turn innovative concepts into reality
Handling Brand Transformation Initiatives
+ Lead brand change initiatives ensuring they resonate with consumer values such as wellbeing, luxury, and community engagement.
+ Foster a sense of belonging among consumers by uniting diverse groups around social causes or niche interests.
+ Encourage dialogue with consumers to co-create solutions that stay ahead in the dynamic market landscape.
Qualifications Experience
• Studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with organizational goals and market trends.
The following technical certifications would be beneficial:
Project Management Certifications:
+ Project Management Professional (PMP):
+ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP):
Supply Chain Management Certifications:
+ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
+ Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt
+ Production processes (preferably in the beverage/alcohol business or CPG companies), product commercialization and project management.
+ Experience in supply chain management, project innovation, or brand change roles.
