Summary:
This position provides primary support to the Senior Vice President / Chief Purchasing Officer and various Supply Chain Vice Presidents for Community Health Systems Professional Services Corporation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare presentations in Google Slides for all department executive level presentationsPrepares documents for execution and ensures internal processes are followed; monitors timely completion of projectsReviews and submits and/or sends all CHS Communications for the Supply Chain Department. Reviews for clarity on the message and alignment with the department goals. Requires excellent command of standard grammar, punctuation, editing, and writing skillsAttend and participates in Supply Chain Leadership Team MeetingsCoordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, record minutes of meetings. Maintains leadership calendars, and organizes meetings and conference callsStay up to date on new Google features and educate leadership. Suggest ways to make work processes smoother and more efficient.Ability and resourcefulness to take on other duties as needed to help drive the Supply Chain vision and missionGeneral office duties such as typing, copying, filing, answering phone, and mail distribution. Schedules travel arrangements and expense reports. Prepares check requests as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in office administration or relevant fieldRequired Experience: Six years or more experience in administrative roles, excellent time management and communication skills.Computer Skills Required: Proficiency and skill with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
