Role & DepartmentCanon EMEA is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist in the DP&S ESPM department. The supply chain specialist focuses on analysis and execution of the supply chain process end-to-end.  Supports, advises, and provides insight with the scope of end-to-end supply chain management. The function is in-charge of driving continuous-improvement and cost-savings working with all relevant stakeholders.  The role combines analysis, support in the creation of processes, and the execution of the processes, in support of the supply chain strategy and objectives. The key stakeholders in this role are the internal supply & Demand planning department, Business Process Consultants, Business Operations, Service & Support management, among others. The external stakeholders are 3rd party logistics suppliers and ICT external suppliers.

As a Supply Chain Specialist you will be responsible for:

Performing analyses to support the strategy and objectives, and recommends changes to processes, based on operational and financial data.Performing continuous improvement and process improvement exercises to optimize existing process with focus on quality, optimization, and cost reduction.Developing tools and ways to facilitate the continuous-improvement and cost-savings objectives of the business.Executing transactional operations in support of the analysis and procedures created.Aligning and supports operational and project roles to achieve the supply chain strategy.Creating decision support and governance tools to maintain control over the performance of the processes.Acting as a team player and a business partner.

What we ask

For this role, you will have:

Knowledge and experience of processes, methodologies and enabling technologies within supply chain and finance;Ability to work in a program and matrix environment, working to tight deadlines when  necessary;Ability to transfer knowledge;Business and Financial analysis and Process Modelling skills;Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities;Excellent communication-, interpersonal  and presentation skills in English, both in writing and speaking;Some traveling will be required.
