We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Supply Chain Specialist to join our team and support our supply chain operations.

 

This position is based in San Diego, California, and follows a hybrid working schedule, requiring the successful candidate to work onsite two days per week.
 

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for purchasing, assisting with inventory controls, shipping and receiving, production planning, and other supply chain-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services. Assist with inventory control activities, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy. Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials. Support production planning by coordinating with various departments to ensure materials are available for production schedules. Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and other supply chain activities. Assist with any other supply chain-related tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency of operations.
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management. Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Supply Chain and/or Purchasing sector. Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.

For applicants that reside in CA, the salary range is $ 73,000 -  $ 101,000 USD annually.

 

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Eligibility to participate in: the discretionary incentive plan assigned to the level of position upon offer of employment; medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms; Company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short- and long-term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods. Paid time off (PTO) is accrued on a per-pay period basis in accordance with tenure in the Company; a new hire can expect 17 days per year. Twelve (12) Company-paid holidays.
