Supply Chain Specialist Benelux

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist Benelux, who is eager to join us in our EU Market Supply Operations    department, based in our office in Anderlecht, Belgium.

 

About the role

As Supply Chain Specialist Benelux, you will coordinate all aspects of the Supply Chain, working internally, with our 3PL partners, and directly with customers to ensure optimal customer service levels at the right cost. You will ensure product availability for pharmacies and patients in Benelux and support the team covering the Nordic countries.

Additionally, you will set the direction for the local supply chain to align with global strategy, create and maintain effective relationships with local commercial leadership, and ensure strict compliance with both internal standards and external regulations.

 

What you’ll do

Customer Service: Manage sample distribution and customer returns, handle related questions from 3PL, wholesalers and pharmacies, SOS order management,Manage Inventory: Control inventory to ensure patient availability, identify potential risk of Out of stock, coordinate import transactions, and support product recall activities. Provide stock reports and ensure no open MRP’s in SAP.Monitor Systems & Global Tools: Ensure accurate master data management, Act as a local Key User for SAP, monitor 3PL interface reports, ensure proper processing of interface files in SAPEnsure Compliance: Support quality and compliance efforts, create and update relevant SOPs to adhere to GMP/GDP standards.Prepare Reports and KPIs: Ensure reconciliation between 3PL and SAP, packaging declaration, monitor internal KPIs, create various reports on stock and sales, and ensure timely, correct, and complete reporting to relevant stakeholders.Communicate with Customers: Engage with wholesalers and pharmacies, oversee product availability at distribution channels, and manage stock allocation schemes for multiple products and wholesalers.Support Projects: Support both local and global projects related to business development, supply chain, and compliance. Connect with finance and outsourced teams, act as a backup for various systems, and support budget monitoring and PO creation.

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain.Over 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Distribution or other relevant roles within the international pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Fluency in English + French and/or DutchGood knowledge of supply chain and distribution concepts within the Pharma/Healthcare industry.Experience in database management and SAP SD MM PP modules.High level of organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.Ability to solve issues in an efficient and compliant way.Patient and Customer focused approach to all activities.Ability to collect, analyse and act on data to allow better decision making.Project/process management skills.Continuous improvement mind-set.Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills.
