The Co-Op Program will be a 6-month program aimed at developing high-potential Staples leaders. The program is designed to give you real work experience, aligning you with strategic projects. The Co-Op program will provide a diverse field of responsibility and you will work directly with leaders across several business units to help drive deeper understandings of business performance and trends, as well as ensure businesses are performing in line with short and long-term objectives.
This Co-Op position requires you to be in a hybrid working model (at least 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote) based at the Staples, Inc. Corporate Headquarters in Framingham, MA.
Target Start Date: July 7, 2025 - December 12, 2025
Note: This Co-Op position is ONLYeligible for students enrolled in the Northeastern University MBA graduate program.
Position Overview:
As a Project Management Co-op, you will take an active role in planning, executing, and monitoring a key new initiative within our organization. You will collaborate with multiple departments, track project milestones, and ensure alignment with business goals. This is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic work environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist in managing project scope, goals, and deliverablesDevelop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and prioritizationTrack project progress and identify potential roadblocks or delaysCommunicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reportsCoordinate project team activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and all parties remain accountable for deliverablesDocument project activities and maintain organized project records.Provide support to team members and assist with any project-related tasks as neededWhat's Needed - Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a master’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, or other relevant area of studyStrong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Supply Chain and ability to perform data analysisDetail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solvingWhat's Needed - Preferred Qualifications:
