The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Global Supply Chain organization is seeking a knowledgeable Supply Chain Professional to join our Subcontracts Administration team. The primary responsibilities for the successful candidate will be to serve as one of a small group of Subject Matter Experts who interpret, develop, and refine procedures, work instructions, and forms; provide advice and counsel regarding the interpretation and application of company command media and regulatory requirements; and promote awareness and understanding of fundamental concepts and best practices to facilitate organizational compliance and audit readiness.

We are looking for you to join our team as a Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist based out of Rolling Meadows, IL. This is a hybrid role—a minimum of 3 days on-site is required.

What You’ll Get to do:

Interfacing and corresponding with suppliersDeveloping sourcing/evaluation strategiesSupplier identificationSource selectionCoordinating export control/security requirementsPreparing and issuing RFPs with appropriate customer flow downs and terms & conditionsEvaluation of customer RFP'sIn conjunction with the program management teams, develops subcontract RFP's that include Statements of Work, Technical/Quality Specifications, Deliverable Requirements List and Schedules, Performance Assessment Requirements, terms and conditions, proposal preparation and pricing requirements/templates, compliance matrices and supplier profilesAdministers resulting subcontracts, ensuring that all requirements are performed in accordance with the scope of work and delivery schedules.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must possess:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience; or a master’s degree with a minimum of 1years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, or information systemsExperience with MS Office suiteAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearanceU.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience reflecting the ability to multi-task in a challenging environmentProfessional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, TelecommunicationsSAP experienceKnowledge of FAR/DFAR

Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $103,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
