Description The Lead for Supply Chain Data Integrity & Systems Applications reports to the Director, Supply Chain Integrity & Systems and plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the data and technology systems that support healthcare supply chain operations to include but not limited to supply chain management system (SCM), inventory management system, GHX, ERP, etcThis position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of supply chain data while driving initiatives to enhance system functionality and performance The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing technology solutions to streamline processes across the organization This role will ensure that all supply chain systems and processes are aligned with best practices and that data integrity and reporting is maintained to support strategic decision-makingSystem Application Management - Manage daily operations and maintenance of supply chain systems and applications, including ERP, inventory management, and procurement toolsWork with third party organizations/partners such as GPO, GHX, consultants, prime vendors etc. to extract and provide ERP information critical to supporting Emory business partnerships and integrationsCollaborate with IT to troubleshoot system issues, implement updates, and maintain system performance Ensure the seamless integration of supply chain systems with other organizational platforms, such as EHR/EMR/ERP systems Evaluate and recommend new technologies and system enhancements to improve operational efficiencySupports projects as assigned by the DirectorSupports critical supply chain events that may occur (e.g. flood, shortage, national events that impact supply chain, etc.) Data Integrity & Governance - Maintain and validate master data, including vendor, item, and contract information, to ensure data accuracy and consistency Develop processes for regular data audits and address discrepancies proactively Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to data management (e.g., HIPAA, FDA) Training & Support - Provide training and support to supply chain staff and stakeholders on system applications and data processesAct as a subject matter expert (SME) for supply chain systems and their functionality Develop and maintain user manuals, training materials, and system documentation Performance Analytics & Reporting - Design and manage dashboards and reports to monitor supply chain performance and identify trendsProvide actionable insights to supply chain leadership using advanced data analytics toolsSupport strategic initiatives through in-depth analysis of supply chain metrics and system utilization Collaboration & Leadership - Work closely with purchasing, logistics, clinical teams, and finance to align data and system solutions with operational needsLead cross-functional projects related to system upgrades, data integration, and process improvementsProvide guidance on system applications and data management practicesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field requiredCertification in supply chain or data systems management a plus (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, or equivalent)Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems management support, data analytics, or related fields, preferably in a healthcare environment Hands-on experience with ERP systems and supply chain platforms (e.g., Lawson, Oracle, SAP) Proven experience with data governance practices and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)SKILLS & COMPENTENCIES:
Strong understanding of supply chain operations, data integrity principles, and system applicationsProficient in database management, analytics tools, and system integrationsExceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments Project management experience is a plusWORK ENVIRONMENT:
