This strategic position offers a unique opportunity to shape the organization's operational strategy and drive sustainable growth through the effective implementation of supply chain activities.** **Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement a global strategy and governance framework for supply chain systems, including analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistency across the organization. This includes partnering with IT in utilizing computer science methodologies to optimize systems architecture and integration across the organization. - Assess the current state of supply chain systems, evaluate the need for future state improvements, and identify gaps and solutions to enhance system capabilities. - Conduct market benchmarking, stakeholder requirements gathering, and evaluations to develop a 3-5 year strategy and execution plans aligned with appropriate stakeholders. Partner with Data & Insights team to utilize data science and machine learning techniques to inform strategic decision-making. - Partner with IT and global business partners** to identify and prioritize system requirements, ensuring that supply chain strategies and operations are supported effectively. Collaborate on software development and integration projects to meet these requirements. - Identify and integrate new technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), into the supply chain systems landscape, promoting best practices in system utilization and process optimization. Partner with Data & Insights team to design and implement AI models that improve system efficiency and decision-making. - Coordinate with all functions to standardize supply chain processes across the organization, ensuring that systems effectively support efficient and unified operations. Support efforts in system programming and coding standards to ensure seamless integration. - Develop training programs and lead change management initiatives to facilitate successful system adoption and usage throughout the organization. Utilize educational software tools to enhance learning and user adoption. - Work with process SMEs to establish and maintain global standards for supply chain systems. - Collaborate with key teams to leverage Trane’s global requirements, securing and implementing systems that benefit from global processes and scale. - Identify cost efficiencies and savings opportunities through centralized procurement and ensure regional budget adherence. Use data analysis and modeling to identify and capitalize on these opportunities. - Quickly assess systems impact and connect organizational needs with final architecture for scalable solutions and rapid deployment. Partner with all functions to implement rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies to achieve these goals. - Set global compliance standards for supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with global regulations. - Develop and maintain a standardized framework for supplier assessment, training, compliance, and cost control, accelerating training based on business demand drivers. Use data analytics tools to streamline these processes. - Collaborate with the data architecture team to ensure seamless integration of supply chain systems with data management practices and frameworks. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, computer science, or similar. - 7+ years of experience in supply chain systems enablement or related fields, with proven experience in software development, systems architecture, or IT project management. - Ability to travel 20%. - Strong project management experience with a focus on software development life cycle and agile methodologies. - Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and functional areas, including technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams. - Expertise in lean coaching and facilitation, with experience in implementing lean software development practices. - Ability to influence others regardless of function or title. - Servant Leadership approach with a passion for eliminating waste and overburden on employees., using data-driven approaches to identify inefficiencies. Preferred: - Master’s Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field. - Experience with global supply chain systems implementations. - Knowledge of the latest supply chain technologies and trends. **Key Competencies and Success Factors** - Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams towards achieving data-centric and technology-driven goals. - Strategic Planning: Skills in developing and executing data and technology strategies that align with organizational goals. - Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding. - Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and organizational changes, with a strong foundation in computer science principles. - Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines, with a focus on agile and lean methodologies. **Compensation:** Salary: $140,000 - $189,000 _Total compensation will include an incentive._ Total Target Cash represents a mix of fixed base salary plus payment from sales commissions.
