DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Distributes supplies to departments and locations as requested and needed. Counts and restocks departments daily or as scheduled. Batches and inputs patient charges daily and checks each batch for accurate charging. Places patient charge labels on all patient chargeable items accurately. Stocks supplies from bulk room and overflow carts, for patient/department use and places them in correct storage locations. Rotates stock according to department policies. Cleans storerooms and carts as needed. Fills order entry requisitions and delivers and/or sets out for courier delivery. Enters stock issues, transfers, and posts requisitions upon completion of picking. Notifies Supervisor and Inventory Buyer of supplies needing reorder. Removes and disposes of expired items according to department policies and procedures. Answers storeroom phone according to department policy. Assists in taking year-end inventory for all departments. QUALIFICATIONS

 

Professional/Educational High School diploma or equivalent. One-year experience in store room.

 

Personal Good verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Good Customer Service Skills Conscientious of accuracy of work      

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
