Summary This job opportunity is for an Supply Management Specialist, position description D0879000, within the G4 Defense Movement Branch. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. The purpose this position is to develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions. Responsibilities As an SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2003-11, you will: Formulate and implement the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements Initiate equipment redistribution guidance Obtain data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness Develop, coordinate and implement policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements Develop command requirements for new equipment training Requirements Conditions of Employment Areas of Consideration: All permanent, on-board, Title 32 Employees within JFHQ Participation in direct deposit is mandatory May be required to successfully complete a probationary period Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.
