As a Buyer, you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site.
In this role, you will work with partners to build comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success.
You will participate and/or lead in the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related but not limited to cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation.

Responsibilities:

Lead Site Supplier Performance and RelationshipsOwn procurement process for designated areas and accountsNegotiate with suppliers to meet business needsSupport capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategiesHandle cost saving initiatives and metricImplement cost savings and process improvement programsHave deep knowledge to serve as a consultant for procurement process and supplier issues.Support site audits

Requirements:

At least a Bachelors degree in the following or equivalent experience: Business, Business Administration/ Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related of field of studyFew years of relevant experience in procurement/engineering will be a plusProven experience in Procurement Operations would be a plusDemostrated capability to work in matrix organisations across multiple timelinesStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various individuals involved
